Hi Todd ,
  SkySpy uses it's own Software so it leaves the Sound Card open - So now you can use SkySpy and another decoder to decode ACARS if
you want - Some people use the sound card to monitor the hits !!  - SkySpy also leaves the Sound Card free so you can use your
computer to play music or Chat etc .

SkySpy uses a Demodulator and the serial port! How are you using the MIC
input?
