[AATV] Video Lynx units? good or waste of money?

I am new to ATV and was looking at the Video-Lynx little ATV transmitters
(1ch & 4ch models) and was wondering about how well do they work? Was even
thinking about trying one out with a PC Electronics 20watt amps. for greater
range.

I am alone in my area in ATV as of this date but have a few takers for
watching if I can get something going they might go further into it. As well
as was looking into them as a static camera for walk-a-thons posted along
the route at a point near the finish.
