[AATV] Los Angeles: Ham Radio Television (ATV) Demonstration

This Tuesday February 4th at 7pm, the San Gabriel Valley Radio Club, Jim
Olliff will be doing a demonstration of Amateur Television (ATV). Jim has
many years experience serving the Glendale, CA community with amateur
radio, Recently Jim was instrumental in the use of ATV during a weapons of
mass destruction drill with the Glendale Emergency Amateur Radio Service
(http://pw1.netcom.com/~josephi/gears02.htm).

Jim will perform a live demonstration of ATV and discuss the usage of this
mode of ham radio. If you don't already know about ATV, this meeting is
the perfect introduction to this mode that allows you to send full motion,
high quality television to other ham operators.

SGVRC meets at Arcadia County Park in the building near the parking lot
adjacent to Santa Anita Ave.
