[80m] 4 square

I use a 4 square in the K8UR bent dipole configuration. The 4 dipoles are
hung from the 120' guy ring on the rotating tower. I tie a rope at the
center point to pull them out from the tower. The bottom is pulled back in
to the tower. I use the Comtek box to phase them. It works really well
for me.
But you don't have to have a big tower or even full size verticals to get
results. WB8ZRL in eastern Iowa has 4 short commercial verticals (can't
remember which make). They are only 21(?)' tall and have an elevated feed
using one or two elevated ground radials. With that array of small
verticals he comes very, very close to the performance of my array.
Full size, ground mounted verticals and miles of copper are nice, but
certainly not necessary.

Subject: [80m] 4 square
Hello All,
Has anybody here using 4 square? I'm working on my own and
I'd like to hear some on the air impressions about that.
I hope to put it on the air in a month or so.
