Hi Richard,
Thank You for the response....... Do You suppose a little heat from a hair
dryer would soften the glue?
Are they the little short batteries in the case sideways?

Mine had a yellow glue similar to weatherstrip glue on the batteries and the
case.
Made it REAL hard to get apart, but it will come apart.
