Trying new antenna, 40' vertical wire in to the primary Hi-Z side ( 10k ) of audio xfmr., secondary via coax to shack..

The cluster @ 24kc is Germany NAA, Big Jim Creek, and ND..

All other spikes are unidentified..

Shorted antenna shows approx -130 noise

Antenna on shows about -120   Looks like about 9 db of atmospherics this morning..

400' LOG is no match..
