Hi Larry. A bunch
of us gathered off line as we hunted DX signals on LF and VLF and
kept in touch via e-mail. We all were convinced the band was WAY
WAY down. All of the normal VLF markers were down about 20 dB. I
also noticed that the number of decodes I received last night via
WSPR was about half compared from the night prior. So I do not
think last night was a good night to compare antenna efficiency
etc. 73

Despite
running 10 dB more ERIP last night, my station returned poorer
results then the previous night. I didn't here much and toward the
east I could barely be heard into the midwest. However I did get
one spot from ZL2AFP so prop to the south was still OK.
KM5SW continues to hear me through most of daylight, a real
testament to Paul's RX ability.
Tonight I will run FST4W-120. Don't think there are many listeners
on that mode so don't think there will any spectacular results to
report later.
