RE: progress on the TX converter project:

Had problems trying to get the NE612 chip to make the 3.2 MHz crystal oscillate. Then I put the crystal into a FET Pierce oscillator circuit and it took off just fine.  Progress is slow but I hope to succeed before next season's MF up-swing...
