Good Morning, all -

After a couple of very frustrating days trying to tune my receive bandpass filter, I decided
to set it aside and simply run my station without it, and suffer from an S9+30dB NDB at
379kHz about 1km away running 400W TPO.

Apparently, I picked a good night to do that, and started running WSPR (not FST4W) at 20% and I heard 15 uniques across 316 spots, with the best DX being KE7A at 1373km. I was heard by 50 uniques across 1642 spots, with the best DX being N6LF at 3568 km.

We're expecting some moderate to heavy rain to start encroaching the region later this afternoon and evening, and continue all through the weekend. My SWR was wonderful last night, but I anticipate that the curve will
shift, and that re-tapping may be necessary, and I can only hope that I can catch a break in the downpours to do it. I will try to listen for JT9/JT65 or FST4 stations this evening for a while, and then go to FST4W overnight.

Very 73,
