Last night I used the W2 active loop again [one of two older Welbrook loops]. It was set up in the garage with the base at about 5 ft, and the top almost touching the ceiling. Altho I do not have the numbers to report, the W2 got more total spots than I have had on the LOWT antenna so far. And the SNR's for the three wspr stations that I decoded was also better.  The loop was aimed to PNW and Texas, but tonight I will run it E/W to see what happens.
