Well last night was certainly a surprise. never expected the QRP beacon to be heard that well.
VA7JX heard me as soon as I turned it on, a distance of about 500km in full daylight!

To be totally honest, it looks like my little post amp after the U3s is putting out a bit more power than I first thought. Rather than the estimated 25 mW EIRP, it looks like it might be closer to 100mW. Still surprising.
If I have time today, I will fool with the post amp a bit more. I hope to get up to the 250 mW EIRP range.
