Hmm! Thanks for the thought Steve. One of those bulbs will be failing
soon. When it does I'm going to tear into it and see what's in there.
If the bulbs do have a filter or bypass cap that is knocking this noise
down 10 dB I wonder if I can add filters somewhere in my home to knock
it down more. If I could get another 10 dB I would be essentially free
of it.
Meanwhile I will see if I can rule out my ham shack a source. I have an
old tired laptop that might run the SDR software well enough to have a
look with the shack circuit breakers off.
