A modification to my 630m antenna produced a new RX station and a new direction hearing my qrppp signal.
Keith, K0KE near Denver, decoded my MF wspr beacon once at a -27. Thanks Keith !!!

The modification temporarily replaced my 10 ft vertical section with a 17 ft vertical section using a telescoping fishing pole. However, It is an eyesore in my driveway. The xyl and HOA would not approve, but I put it up at sunset and took it down at sunrise, so that I could get away with it overnight. That pole was about six feet from the chicken wire underlay of the stucco wall of the house, which I think was better than the normal vertical wire that is only ONE foot from that chicken wire wall. I calculated that this experiment garnered me a 3 to 4 dB advantage over my normal stealth setup with the 10 ft vertical section.

My FST4 attempts last night were unheard. My qso dx so far is only 482 miles to KM5SW in NM. Paul has a great RX system.  My RX system is a Wellbrook Loop in the attic at 11 ft AGL
