Normally, when the antenna system gets iced up, it only lasts a day or so before wind and a little sun take care of the ice. Lately, the ice has not dissipated before another round of crap blows through.

A few weeks ago, I didn't catch it in time and the high SWR made my low pass output filter very unhappy. After repairing that, I'm a bit twitchy about running if there is any chance of ice.

Hopefully this WX will go back to normal and I can resume usual operations.
