[600MRG] Details on 630 M trips by W0SD

630 TRIPS PLANNED BY W0SD

Starting in 2024  W0SD is planning several trips for at least a couple 
of years to various states operating  630M digital  and if there is 
interest some CW operation.  I will only go to states where there is no 
present,activity.

The first trip is planned for Mississippi (MS) for mid to late April 
2024.  I have the authorization for a location in MS.  I have a good 
place to operate from a ham’s location.  The operation is planned for 3 
or 4 nights.  Staying the 4th night depends on how bad the QRN was the 
previous days.

I will have Starlink internet and will post on “SLACK” who is in the log 
each morning or sometime during the day before the next night.  I will 
not be making schedules or spending time on “SLACK” unless I have an 
important announcement.  Based on experience it is very hectic to keep 
everything operating, generator running, etc. so I won’t be spending 
time on “SLACK”.

I will upload to LOTW probably at the end of the trip.  If you want a 
paper QSL send a SASE to my QRZ address.  I will be running FST4, first, 
one minute.

Operation is planned from Louisiana (LA) and Arkansas (AR) on the way 
back to SD again assuming there is still no one active from these 
states.  The operation right now is planned for 3 nights in each state.

I plan on having back up 630M equipment for the trip.  The antenna and 
equipment will be similar to what I used in WY and ND.

Furture trips may be to ND, WY, MT, RI  or other suggestions depending 
if any of them are active by them.  Questions or suggestions are welcome!
