[600MRG] Radio engineer Grady Motes and the HEBA efficient small size medium wave antenna

The KDKA wire cage was the standby TX antenna @ KDKA, 50s 60s 70s

The transmission line was 4 wires in a square fed alternately and cross 
connected along the way from the TU to the vertical section of a 6 wire 
cage all spaced and insulated with the top and bottom of this 50' 
vertical run each connected to 6 wire horizontal elements.
At least that is what I remember..

Draw a capital H on it's side fed smack in the middle of the 'H'.. 
Imagine 2 wire feed, then build a 3' or so circular cage on the top, 
bottom, and vertical feed.. Anyway it was a DX maker...
