Hi Joe.
The antenna is an old Wellbrook Loop that was given to me. It is 1 meter in diameter. The active amplifier at the bottom of the loop was damaged, so Mark, KU7Z gave me an external active amplifier that he got from an AZ ham named Steve R [I forget his call sign].

Anyway, I mounted it in the attic above the shack. I made a ladder line [about 4 feet long] from the bottom of the loop that extends its two leads thru the ceiling of the shack where I attached the active amplifier. Then the coax feeds 13 volts to the amp from a bias T injector near the radio.

You can make your own system like this with active amplifier boards that are offered on Ebay or also by WellGood Loops [google it].

The W loop's bottom is about 11 ft AGL now, fed by an active amplifier,  gifts from KU7Z...Thanks Mark!!!
