No luck yet beyond Clint's place [ka7oei], so 49 miles is my TX DX so far. Poor antenna system here for 630m

I saw that K8HTL dropped down to 1 watt TPO last night and got out to 500+ miles with his 55 ft tall inverted L. He has a 250 ft top wire on it.

My TPO is about 1.75 w at this time but my antenna sucks!  I am thinking about other antenna options now. I have to get a signal to you this winter!!!

TX antenna:  Inverted LV [v=10, H=30] Peak of V top wire is 18 ft.

RX antenna:  Wellbrook active loop, 1 meter in diameter mounted in attic at 11 ft AGL.
