Been fighting the beacon TX for last few days. The little post amp I was using after the U3S became unstable. Part of the problem is the U3S output stage is very finicky about what load it sees. Finally gave up on the amp i was using and built another. This one is stable but a bit lower power. Maybe today, if I get time I will try to jack it up a bit more.
Despite the WRPR report of +23 dBm, it was actually running around +17 dBm. Changing the U3S is a pain in the butt so won't set it to correct value until I have the post amp in a permanent configuration.
The 50% duty cycle is just for testing. I will return to a lower duty cycle soon.
