In spite of poor conditions, FST4W-300 provided some impressive decodes over difficult paths. KM5SW at 1044 miles was routinely decoding my signal mid-day and through the night. Longest path was , I think, to WA3U at 2235 miles. Not too bad given that my antenna is a 450 foot piece of #17 galvanized fence wire strung around the yard with the highest point at around 65 feet. Estimated EIRP is 600mW +/- the normal 20 dB uncertainty factor.
Starting now, I will be running FST4W-900 for the rest of the day and through the night barring any problems. All reports will be appreciated if you can monitor that mode and report to WSPRnet and PSKreporter.
Thanks & 73,
Larry - W7IUV
