[600MRG] Need help to identify antenna..

Have been using remnants of the rectangular vertical loop made of litz
wire and used on both 630m and 160m... It was about 350' circumference..

The far end of the loop has broken away from it's pulley and tree...

I tied that to a single point far end to a tree about 35' up and
returned it back to the bottom of the vertical..  Now it looks like a
pennant... No resistor or ground.. ( I like that )

The feed line goes to the bottom of the original loop which now is the
feed to a 50' vertical against the return of the loop wire about 8' high
off ground on the way... call it a phasing line..

So; The wire leaving the top of the 50' vertical goes out to about 150'
slanted down then continues straight back to the bottom of the 50' of
vertical ( the feed point )...

Now I see the only useful part of this pennant loop is the vertical
portion ( 50' )... It seems to operate pretty good on 160m and at 630m
has been very useful, I have no idea of the gain ( loss )..

Call the two slanted horizontals a phantom ground or a phasing wire
ground return... It is electrically above ground..

It looks like a keeper but can anyone identify it as something other
than a pennant loop??
Previously the far end vertical portion running about the same phase as
the first vertical wire on 630m and seemed near out of phase with the
loop vertical..

Works OK on both 630m and 160m..  Unfortunately the RX noise is still
out of bounds with these 3 phase AC lines...

TNX for any thoughts..  DaveR @ aa1a
