[600MRG] JT9 Newbee Question

Software generates the required filtering via DSP so just follow the 
instructions in the WSJT etc manual. Normally a 2.7 kHz to 3 kHz BW is fine.


I use a flex radio and can dial in any BW I want and have experimented 
with trying to narrow the BW down before the DSP filtering occurs and 
have seen no improvements. The only time I may do so is if there is a 
carrier of birdy right on the edge of the band-pass and I want to get 
rid of it before any post processing occurs. You just want to make sure 
you don't go too narrow and block some required tones !
