630MRG gang:

I plan on using JS8call this evening, primarily in beacon mode (its called ‘heartbeat’ ( or HB ) in that program). Those familiar with JS8call know that they can trigger a signal report from my station in between my beaconing intervals.

See http://js8call.com for info and downloads. You could also start up a rag-chew QSO with someone in your reception range if you like.

I will probably TX my beacon at the 2200 hz spot (dial at 474.2 kHz).

Be sure not to TX in the WSPR window (1400-1600hz) while using this program.

I have a separate 'email distribution list' of 17 members who follow my mode experiments on 630m. If you'd like to be included in those emails you can let me know and I will add you in. I might not always be using this '600mrg' system for all my activities.

Thanx for the bandwidth,

73
