I’ve just finished David’s G0MRF 300 watt amplifier.
Right now I’m running it at around 200 watts, at 20vdc.
It ain’t pretty right now since there are lots of clip leads involved and the frequency multiplier isn’t in a case but it does seem to work.
Transmit/Receive comes from the Monitor Sensors transverter turned down to 2 watts output. That 2 watts goes to a t/r switch and a 20db attenuator which feeds the 2x frequency multiplier and then on to the amp.
I’ll try it on-the-air tonight and see how it goes. I hope the receive isn’t degraded much by all the t/r switches involved.
Hopefully this will add a few dB to my signal and more of you guys can consistently copy me.
