[600MRG] FTDX3000 on 475kHz

 hello Larry,
while the receiver goes very low on the FTDX3000, the transmitter specs start at 160 meters. Even if you "jailbreak" the band limits, i doubt that the transmitter circuitry will work very well, if at all. 600 meters is a long way from 160 meters!

Has anybody tried to transmit with a Yaesu FTDX3000 on 475 kHz? I know
the receiver works pretty good, but have not "freebanded" it yet to try
the TX. If someone has already tried this, it might save me re-inventing
the wheel so to speak.

Thanks in advance...
