630m Gang....
I have concluded my testing of JT9-10 mode. My gear is not stable enough in frequency to be able to be decoded most of the time. The 10 minute mode is very narrow and cannot tolerate much drift per minute.
I will probably continue to monitor JT9-1/2/5 modes, and was glad to be able to decode Roger VK4YB's JT9-5 a few times last night on both antennas:
JT9-5 from YB [from my VERTICAL]
1135 -27 -0.1 825 5 CQ VK4YB QG62
1145 -30 -0.1 825 5 CQ VK4YB QG62
1205 -31 -0.1 825 5 CQ VK4YB QG62
and this from my EPROBE
1145 -32 -0.1 825 5 CQ VK4YB QG62
1155 -32 -0.2 825 5 CQ VK4YB QG62
1205 -34 -0.1 825 5 CQ VK4YB QG62
So, it appears that SlowJT9 has its place on 630m, and probably even more so on 2200m.
My thanks to all who listened and/or reported during these SlowJT9 experiments.
