Good Evening,

For several years, Jim Hollander, W5EST, has provided analysis and
commentary on a wide range of topics related to 630 meters, many of
which are based on observations and reports of active operators. That
information is regularly seen as a feature in my daily reports.

In 2016, Jim released his first compendium which sought to compile
some of the most important discussions and organize them by topic for
ease of consumption. I am pleased to announce that volume two of this
compendium has been released covering updated topics and commentaries
from 2017 and 2018.

Not only is the material technically useful and extensive, the 2017-18
Yearbook compiles more “630m firsts” from these early years of
operations under first-in-a-century privileges for amateur radio
operators across many countries and regions.

Both volumes may be accessed here:
http://njdtechnologies.net/your-630m-blog-book-a-compilation-of-the-work-and-analysis-of-jim-hollander-w5est/

One has the ability to select the volume of interest, either the
original release from 2016 or the updated commentaries from 2017/2018.
A table of contents for each volume allows readers to select and
either download or view the chapters that may be of interest.

Jim notes that "We have tried to consistently recognize operators who
have provided us content for these blog book volumes. We are indebted
to so many who have given us the benefit of their expertise in
particular aspects of 630m technique."

Thanks to Jim for taking the time and effort to not only compile his
commentaries for inclusion in my daily reports but also for the
development of these volumes in an effort to help operators find
success on 630 meters.

73!

John KB5NJD..
