Oh my gosh Gang. I just got a wx report that thunderstorms are headed my way for the next 12 or more hours.

Sooooo, I might not be able to make it thru the night with my WSQ beacon. If not, just know that I will try this again in a couple of days anyway, hopefully with a top load on my vertical to boost my EIRP.

Stay tuned.

Subject: [600MRG] WSQ on 630m tonight from CN85

630m ops:

Tonight I will be on WSQCall at 474200 +1700 hertz. I will be on beacon mode every 10 minutes until ~bedtime. Then I will switch the beacon to every 30 minutes. This will be my first night on WSQcall since returning to 630m. I am running only ~100 mW EIRP, so this will be an interesting test for this power and especially at this time of the year in NA!! My sunset tonight is 0327z but SS enhancement might be possible prior to that time.

You can download the program at https://www.qsl.net/zl1bpu/SOFT/WSQCALv200.zip
It has a HELP tab if you need information about how to use the program.

To get it working at 1700 hz, you will need to click on the UP 200 button and drag the waterfall to the left until you are able to view the 1700 to 1800 area.

You can generate a signal report from my station (if I completely decode you) by typing w0yse? into the tx buffer box. Be sure not to have a space in front of my call or it will not generate an SNR.

Good luck, and thanks for participating.
