Be advised that Part 97 limits the maximum frequency shift to 1.0 kHz. Please keep the wide band stuff where it belongs.

Larry raises a definite issue with the mode.. Being FSK - it Does occupy to much Bandwidth to follow the rules..

§97.307 Emission standards.
(f) The following standards and limitations apply to transmissions on the frequencies specified in §97.305(c) of this part.
(3) Only a RTTY or data emission using a specified digital code listed in §97.309(a) of this part may be transmitted.
The symbol rate must not exceed 300 bauds, or for frequency-shift keying,
the frequency shift between mark and space must not exceed 1 kHz.

Using ARGO in CW(NDB) mode, I measured the transmitted BW to be from 800 Hz to 2000 Hz..

Can't argue with the rules...

Thanks for the heads up Larry..
