[600MRG] tuning loops

No Joy guys,  I put a piece of copper clad circuit board (10" x 10") into
the coil.  L goes from 836 uH down to 692 uH and Q goes from 735 down to
480.  

 

Not sure of the copper thickness but not likely to be more than 4-5 mils.
Skin depth in copper at 475 kHz is about 3.8 mils.
