[600MRG] Receiver protection

Many, many years ago when I was a novice my transmitter consisted of a
HW-16 (with soft final) and my gem receiver SB-313 as the receiver as a
split set. I was an avid SWL and the SB-313 back in it's day was 2nd to
none for SWL'ing.
Anyway, on the back of the SB-313 panel was a RCA phono jack called
"mute" that ran to my HW-16. It fully protected the receiver while I
transmitted on the same frequency. Perhaps take a look at the simple
circuitry of the SB-313 and see if you can adopt that to your setup. I
suspect the SB-303 (ham only bands) had the same provision as it was
designed to be used with separate transmitters like the 401 etc. 73

Light travels faster than sound....
This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.
