[600MRG] Missing recent posts...

I see that several recent posts didn't make it to the forum.

I will try to recap at least some of those, and I hope that this one will get there:

1) No. No one is "moderating" this list except me. Over the past 20 years of the existence of
this forum, I have "moderated" it exactly 6 times. That is 6 times in 20+ years. All 6 of those
times were a result of an exchange between two members which, in my opinion, had gotten
a bit too "heated". I simply "suggested" that those be continued off-list.

I post often to this forum simply because I am extremely interested in the topics discussed. I
have supported this forum, by myself, for, as I said, over 20 years. Why would I screw it up
now? You are all grown-up and can act like you are, so why would I need to "moderate"
what you talk about? In addition, it is simply too much work for me so I won't do it. Carry on.

2) I have completely disabled the digest. It is too cumbesome both for many on the forum,
and especially for me, and it is not necessary, so it is gone, never to return, so don't ask.

3) I am new to this particular forum software and am learning about as much as you are. I
will have it figured out and "tweaked" soon enough. Your patience is appreciated.

4) I will move the archives from the old forum to this one as soon as possible.

5) FYI, the most recent issue of Electric Radio Magazine has the first of a
two-part article on both an effective simple 630 meter (and possibly 2200 meter)
antenna, and a discussion on building a 2-band transmitter for these
bands.

Written by Mike Murphy WU2D, I think it is "required reading" for many of
us.

Mike's articles are always extremely informative and very well done. He is a very good
fellow.

Mike does not frequent forums such as ours, so I am taking the liberty to
pass this info on to you.
