You're absolutely correct, of course.

I simply thought it was very interesting.

Besides, this particular mod ADDS 630 meters to the rig and doesn't destroy any other 
feature of it.

It is one of the very, very few mods I have ever seen which is actually well thought-out.

Even so, it probably would not be useful to 90% of owners.
