[600MRG] Free standing verticals

The best cheap freestanding support I had was my first one in 1957. It 
was an ancient peeled hardwood pole that was used as a flagpole for 
decades before I got it, with pulley already installed.  With a couple 
of 2 x6 treated planks in the ground and a simple wood bracket to our 
tiny 1-car garage and I was nearly 40 ft in the air. It supported one 
end of a longwire until the elm holding the other end died maybe 15 
years later.
I think large irrigation pipe might work - we don't have any 'round heah.
