It works fine for me.Assuming you have a working copy of 0.9.12.5 already, and that it isin C:\SlowJT91. Create a folder, I called it C:\SlowJT9a2. Navigate to C:\SlowJT9. Select (Ctrl+A) all files, subfolders, and subfolder contents, then copy them (Ctrl+C).3. Navigate to C:\SlowJT9a. Paste (Ctrl+V). You should now have afull duplicate set of files in this location.4. Create desktop shortcuts for both SlowJT9 copies if desired.5. Start one, then start the other. It will probably start upexactly on top of the running window and will need to be dragged offto expose the one underneath.6. Configure modes as desired in each running copy.I now have two instances of SlowJT9 running, one on JT9-2 mode, theother on JT9-5. Bot are stable and each is saving decodes to itsrespective file. The two files containing all decodes are:C:\SlowJT9\extra\decoded.txtC:\SlowJT9a\extra\decoded.txtI have bad weather coming late tonight through Saturday. I will planto do an overnight run beaconing JT9-5 and JT9-2 for comparisonSaturday night and Sunday night, weather permitting. Frequency willbe 136.800. You can set the dial as always to 136.000 USB, all thisshould run in parallel with any WSPR or other decoders you normally use.The best way to send reception reports for this test is to email meyour decoded.txt files from both locations. You will need to renameone of them.73,Paul N1BUGFN55mfOn 12/27/18 11:08 AM, N1BUG wrote:> I tried to find some method to run a JT9-2 vs JT9-5 comparison test> but I did not succeed.> > To do so requires running two instances of SlowJT9 to receive.
