Don't you just love the English Language, especially that dialect used in the United States!  The same word, as spelled, can have a number of different meanings even within a single discipline.  If one does a "Google" on "termination" several different definitions come up and then if one does a "Google" on "electronic termination" even more definitions come up such as "a wire termination is the work performed to the end of a wire that allows it to connect to a device".  
I can see why someone, who does not have English as their primary language, can easily be confused when conversing with someone in this country. Glen, K9STH

BUT after 50+ years in the antenna and communication industry,  Termination has several definitions depending on which group of engineers you are talking to ....So,  You are correct only in certain regiments of technology.  You ask a Broadcast or Microwave engineer, and you would be questioned as to what you meant.   For me, termination means something that is either a dummy load, dissipation line, or Ground.   
Your reference to a "termination at an antenna or dummy load" is confusing. The first is incorrect the second is correct.  Termination in it's simplest meaning is END, not a junction.  In a train ride, arriving at your destination is the termination of the trip. Going further it was a connection..... IMHO  end.
