Tonight w0yse will try operating on BOTH of our ‘MF’ bands, 160m and 630m, with two adjacent stations in my shack.

My 160m beacon will be using the new FT8call program and will TX approximately every 10 minutes at a frequency whose lowest tone is 200 hz above the center of the WSPR band. The RF will appear at 1838.300 kHz. The antenna will be a low OCFD (95 ft long, 22 ft AGL) which will act like an NVIS antenna with mostly high angle radiation. The program can be ‘queried’ for a signal report by sending ‘w0yse?’ similar to FSQcall and WSQcall programs. FT8call for Windows can be downloaded at https://www.dropbox.com/s/c18y52ycpta4ypi/ft8call-0.4.2-devel-win32.exe?dl=0

My 630m beacon will be using WSQcall version 2.00 on 474.9 kHz, which is 200 Hz above the center of the WSPR band. This station will employ my normal top loaded 45 ft vertical with about 2w EIRP.

I will be sounding every 10 minutes from approximately sunset until sunrise.

Thanks in advance for any reports.
