[600MRG] Suggestion for Stepper or Servo for Variometer?

I abandoned my Variometer.

It did allow for finding the absolute lowest swr but it was a bit of a hassle.

My TX doesn't need to have 1: 1.000 swr, it works fine just a little above perfect.

Even though my antenna is in a tree, I find it easy to use a 'Linear length Adjuster' to tune the antenna.

It is an old TV/FM radio telescoping whip. It is in line with the antenna above the loading coil.

I have little marks on it so I can adjust it for the expected temperature before I transmit.

It has to be a little longer for cold temps.

Easy Peasy.
