w0yse will be using WSQCall tonight as a beacon by sounding every 10 minutes. My RF will be at 476.7 khz. It will run until sunrise.

It can be decoded by WSQ2-DL with an AF offset of 2500 hz if your USB dial is at 474.2 kHz. You can also trigger a signal report from my WSQCall program using WSQ2 if you know the checksum of your call as generated by a WSQCall program. For example, w7xsv has a checksum of 92. So he could use WSQ2 to get a signal report from w0yse by sending the following text “w7xsv:92w0yse?” (Without the quotes). Assuming w0yse was able to receive all of that, his PC would respond with a signal report (SNR).

Also, if w7xsv were to send only “w7xsv:92”, and any WSQCall station on that frequeny were to completely decode it, then w7xsv would appear in the “heard station log” of that WSQCall station.

The WSQCall stations are hoping to decode you whenever they are on.
Thanks for listening.
