[600MRG] Experiencing a wierd BCB interference recently

Greetings all:
I have recently started hearing what sound like BCB interference on 630 meters.. In years of listening; I have
never had any issues with this.. A couple weeks ago, a very strong cold front came thru with extreme winds
for this area.. Gust were reported between 35 to 60 mph in the area I live.. Immediately after that storm front,
I started hearing horrible interference on the frequency of 477.500 KHz .. I can only hear it at night - never during
daytime hours.. In USB , I can not understand the voice ( it is talk all the time ), it sounds like a raspy, chirpy
oscillator that pulls frequency under modulation.. If I put the receiver in A.M. mode with 6 KHz BW; I can
sometimes make out what is being said, such as the recent NCAA Basketball Tournament - I could hear it..
Some nights, the signal is stronger than others, BUT , the signal - Does Not - fade in and out, the strength
is constant, and ranges from S-9 +5 , to S-9 +20 .. There have been a couple of nights that the interference
was not there, for instance, another front with wind gusts came through, and the interference went away
for a couple of nights, and then came back with a vengance .. I am recovering from a recent hernia surgery,
so, I have not started the gremlin chase yet... it would help if I could hear it during the day to help determine
if it is local, and possibly something to do with " My Antenna " ..
*** Has anyone ever experienced broadcast interference - A.M. or Shortwave - that was propagated by a
powerline ? Coincidentally, after the storm system passed, and the interference started, I am also plagued
with powerline buzz that I have not had in a very long time .. Powerline buzz I have dealt with through the
years, but, I have never heard this type of ( what sounds like ), broadcast interference that my memory can
recall.. I have scanned the BC Band from one end to the other when the interference is in there, and have
not found a station that sounds like what I am hearing.. ( the talk does not match ) .. Combining the endless
QRM from the very close signal to my SW; and this newly occuring interference from where ever it is coming
from; 630 meters is essentially useless for me, as I am unable to hear ..
When I am able to do so, checking my antenna system, and grounds will be step #1, but, still wondering
if powerlines with defective hardware can propagate interference of this type ..
Thanks for any comments, and 73 to all:
