Many people are put off because it is only 5 channels. If they ever make it a real BAND - activity may grow some. I made a few SSB contacts in Germany. But mostly I relied on 40m for local stuff. Also interesting that it will not be channelized much longer. I wonder how we will make out with 15 watts e.r.p. ? (or is it 25w, I forget...) My antenna doesn't have much gain anyway so I need to calculate the losses of a mis-mached antenna with negative gain to figure up how much powre I can run, considering transmisison line losses etc. etc. Has there been any discussion here about th enew restructions that will be coming when we go to a non-channelized band at 60m? 73 de AF4K, Bry ______________________________________________________________ 60-Meters mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/60-meters Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:60-Meters at mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html ______________________________________________________________ 60-Meters mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/60-meters Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:60-Meters at mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html ______________________________________________________________ 60-Meters mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/60-meters Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:60-Meters at mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html -- Art Roberts W1AER Tariffville, CT FN31ov JT9 and JT65 No trees were killed in the sending of this message.
