Would anyone like to try a CW or JT65 contract with me on 60m?

Subject: [60-Meters] 60-Meter QSO this morning

Hi everyone. I had a nice chat with W4VAB this morning on 5348 kHz CW.

I am glad 60 meters is more than just an SSB band. Nothing against voice contacts at all.

Also interesting that it will not be channelized much longer.

I wonder how we will make out with 15 watts e.r.p. ? (or is it 25w, I forget...)

My antenna doesn't have much gain anyway so I need to calculate the losses of
a mis-mached antenna with negative gain to figure up how much powre I can run,
considering transmisison line losses etc. etc.

Has there been any discussion here about th enew restructions that will be
coming when we go to a non-channelized band at 60m?
