Nice!  I have their 10m model, the 2950.  That's all I could afford at 
the time, and I think it was ~250 nearly 30 years ago!  I eventually 
upgraded to a Kenwood TS-570D for HF, and an Alinco DR-M06 for 6m FM, 
which I lost track of during a move in 1998.  It's probably in some 
randomly labeled box I've yet to look in.

I played a bit on 6m with an Icom IC-706MKII, and aside from kerchunking 
some repeaters, and a few seconds of a band opening in the early 2000's, 
I've not really seen 6m activity.
