I just heard the GREAT NEWS that K9CT and AA7A will be operating EME on both 2m and 
6m during the Pitcairn Island next October ;-) So you have an entire year to get your 
stations tuned up for them! We will be hearing more information in the coming months.

 I have for sale a Yaesu FT450D HF and 6 meter IF-DSP transceiver in very
good condition. This model does 100 watts on HF and 6m, and is loaded with
features including an autotuner, voice keyer, CW memory keyer, TCXO, speech
processor, and DSP based narrow filters. It is the D model so it has a
300hz and 500hz CW filters and the 300hz filter can be used on the digital
modes as well. Also has backlit buttons for easy viewing.

The built in voice keyer makes this a very nice contesting rig.  Push a mic
button, have the rig call CQ Contest for you.  Push another mic button,
have the rig give the exchange.  You can lower the 10 meter power to 5 or
10 watts to drive transverters as well.  The digital VOX circuit makes it
very easy to interface with a computer to run WSJT-just use the CT39A
packet cable and a couple of 1/8" plugs to go to your soundcard.

It works great with no problems and is in very pretty good physical
condition as well. The face looks really good, there are some scratches on
the top and bottom cases. It comes with the MH-31 hand mic, and a power
cord.

This is a great radio but I just have too many other rigs here right now
(like it is possible to have too many rigs!). Pictures are available on
request. I am asking $500 shipped for it and can take paypal/check/MO.
