[50mhz] JT65 on 6 meters questions

It looks like 50.276 is the new calling frequency on 6 meters, and I am
working on getting back on JT65. I have done it before in the past on 6m
and 2m where 2 stations would meet on Pingjockey.net and set up a sked to
work each other. We would point our beams at each other and run full power.
How are things being done on 50.276? Is it like PSK where everything is
leaving their receivers open to 3khz of bandwidth and trying to copy
everyone? Do you have to run lower power, then, so you don't wipe out the
waterfall for everyone else (like on PSK)? Also, does it still require
stability where a TCXO is needed?
My Yaesu FT100D has the TCXO, but I wouldn't run it for 1 minute of full
keydown at 100 watts for more than a couple of exchanges. Trying to figure
out what I might need to do rigwise.
