  Offering to the serious 6m contester or DX’er, a mint condition Ameritron AL1200 retrofitted with a full output Eimac 8877 and dedicated to 6 meter operation. Develops 2250++ watts of key down output power with 50w of drive. Exhibits minimal grid current even at higher levels. 
Plate voltage is rear panel rocker switch selectable for either 3600VDC or 4000 VDC. To complement the  heavy duty Peter Dahl  plate transformer, a  filter capacitor/diode rectifier extender board has been added to handle the increased plate voltage.  Automatic grid protection is installed with an integral 3 minute delay timer. Fully adjustable rear panel variable inductor tuner inputs to adjust to any solid state exciter. Operates on 220VAC primary only. Typical output is: 2w drive  325W output; 10w-1000w;  20w -1600w. Truly a one call one contact amp!
