Hello Sixers!

I had been waiting until the T8 callsign was in hand, but I talked with the T8
licensing people last week, and it sounds like things are getting pretty close now.
And since the upcoming DXpedition is only 5 months away, I figured I better get the
information out so folks can pencil it on their calendars!

So, if you still need T8 and/or V6 on 6m, I hope you will gear up for a contact with
me in August. The operating schedules, procedures and information on the locations
are now updated and shown on my web page:

<http://www.bigskyspaces.com/w7gj/Palau%20and%20Yap%202016.htm>

Please pay particular attention to the procedures I will be using and use the ON4KST
EME CHAT page to coordinate your calling frequency so you are not calling on top of
others. I will be watching carefully for callers from 900 Hz above and 1000 Hz
below my frequency, and will be manually trying to decode all traces every sequence.

If you haven't tried 6m EME, you may may be thinking there is no way you could work
halfway around the world by sending your signals a half million miles. I invite you
to look on my website and review the results of my previous seven 6m EME DXpeditions
and see some of the stations I have contacted. There are a number of single yagi
horizon-only stations in the logs. There also are even contacts in the logs which
were the first EME contacts for those stations!

The website will be updated as soon as the T8 callsign is received.

GL and DX! VY 73, Lance
