The case looks really good with no big scratches or anything like that on it. It is putting out full power on all bands, and works fine. This is the model that does 100 watts on HF and 6m, 50 watts on 2m, and 35 watts on 70cm. It has IF-DSP so no optional filters are needed. It has a built in TCXO for frequency stability, built in CW memory keyer, built in voice keyer, built in voice synthesizer, and built in SWR meter. This rig is loaded with no other options to add to it. The only "issue" with it is that the faceplate clip that holds it to the body is broken. Not a problem if you are going to use it with the separation kit (not included) or you can order the new clip from Icom. It comes with a power cord terminated in Anderson power poles, and the hand mic. I am asking $740 shipped in the US. I can take paypal/check/MO. Buy today with paypal and I will ship it tomorrow so you can have it in time for the June VHF contest next weekend. 73 John AF5CC From W3DHJ at jonz.net Sun Jun 5 21:26:01 2016 From: W3DHJ at jonz.net (Jonesy W3DHJ) Date: Sun, 5 Jun 2016 19:26:01 -0600 (MDT) Subject: [50mhz] W3DHJ/R ARRL JUN VHF -- COLORADO Message-ID: I will be a'Rovering in the contest this weekend. Maybe I can jump on some of the great propagation they get here in Florida. This place seems to be a nirvana 6m location. As a former DM12lo guy, I have noticed that we haven't had one Caribbean to west coast opening yet. My log shows that these openings generally start in late May until this time in June. This year I have noticed zero linking openings to southern California. I am sure my old friends in San Diego have noticed this too. 73, Keith K5AZZ Sent from my iPhone > On Jun 7, 2016, at 12:37 PM, John Geiger af5cc2 at gmail.com [6meter] <6meter at yahoogroups.com> wrote: > > Are any other parts of the country experiencing horrible Es conditions for 6 meters so far this spring/summer. There are a couple of light scratches on the top but overall it looks very good. It does 100 watts plus on HF and 6, and includes an autotuner, dual watch so you can listen to 2 frequencies at the same time, a bandscope to see what is happening on the band, built in CW memory keyer, built in voice keyer, and IF DSP so you don't need to buy any filters with it. This one is working fine and come with the hand mic, power cord, and manual. I am looking to trade it for a Yaesu FT450AT plus cash, or maybe an HF/6m/2m/70cm rig plus cash. I would sell it outright for $775. Can meet someone for an in--person trade and willing to drive a little ways for this, but could ship it if necessary also if you pay shipping. 73 John AF5CC Lawton, OK From af5cc2 at gmail.com Sun Jun 12 22:35:14 2016 From: af5cc2 at gmail.com (John Geiger) Date: Sun, 12 Jun 2016 21:35:14 -0500 Subject: [50mhz] FS: Icom 756PRO HF/6m Rig (lower price) Message-ID: I have for sale or trade an Icom 756PRO HF/6m radio in very good condition. I have used this in the June VHF contest this past weekend with great results. It has a much lower noise floor than my Yaesu FT100D, and the bandscope is great for locating contest activity. This one is working fine with one exception. When you turn on the noise blanker, sometimes it creates a howling like sound. This seems to be based on background noise as it does it more with preamp 2 on, and seldom if ever does it with the preamps off. I only notice it on SSB also. The receiver is so quiet I never use the noise blanker anyways. The 756PRO comes with the hand mic, power cord, and manual. Due to the noise blanker issue, I think a fair price would be $700 shipped for it. This is a great rig and I would love to keep it, but need some extra money for repairs. If you would like a HF/6m/2m/70cm rig, you can probably talk me out of my Yaesu FT100D which works fine. 73 John AF5CC Lawton, OK From af5cc2 at gmail.com Mon Jun 13 10:15:22 2016 From: af5cc2 at gmail.com (John Geiger) Date: Mon, 13 Jun 2016 09:15:22 -0500 Subject: [50mhz] FS: Yaesu FT100D HF/6m/2m/70cm transceiver Message-ID: I have for sale a Yaesu FT100D HF/VHF/UHF all mode transceiver. It has a bilt in memory keyer, AF DSP providing noise reduction, bandpass filtering, and an autonotch, 500hz CW filter, TCXO, SWR meter, CTCSS encode and decode, and quite a few other features. Lots of great features in a mobile sized package. This radio is in very good condition, with no real bad marks or signs of use on it. It comes with a power cord, manual, box, and an almost new MH-48 hand mic. This is not the original mic for the FT100D, so the up/down buttons don't work on it, but it gives very good audio reports and the other buttons work fine on it. I am asking $525 shipped in the US for the FT100D and can take paypal/check/MO. 73 John AF5CC From af5cc2 at gmail.com Wed Jun 15 10:26:45 2016 From: af5cc2 at gmail.com (John Geiger) Date: Wed, 15 Jun 2016 14:26:45 +0000 Subject: [50mhz] 6 meter DX yesterday Message-ID: wow!
