Lance,
Good. Another chance. I copied some stations working you last year
but not you*. That did permit me to determine peak ground gain was
about 13-15 degrees elevation. My single yagi does not have
elevation and is 1 WL high.
*Note reception was with K3 plus PR6 preamp at the shack thru
7/8-inch line to 6-element yagi; I have a ARR preamp going into a box
at tower-top so that might make a slight improvement in NF.
Looking at the common windows they are near end of US or beginning of
EU window when you are at high elevation.
All depends on my getting the amplifier ready in time.

I will not be installing the 2nd 6m yagi with elevation until next
year (too much else in progress this summer). I may be off 2m-eme
for a couple months (est Aug-Sep) if we build a new 26x18 foot ham
shack onto the garage which requires moving the shack and re-cabling
everything. I should be able to maintain cables to dish and 6m tower
during most of that process.
