From af5cc2 at gmail.com Tue Aug 23 17:41:24 2016 From: af5cc2 at gmail.com (John Geiger) Date: Tue, 23 Aug 2016 21:41:24 +0000 Subject: [50mhz] FS: Icom 706 series rigs Message-ID: I have for sale an Icom 706MKIIG HF/6m/2m/70cm all mode radio for sale. The top of the case has some scratches on it but the rest of the radio looks fine. This is the model that does 100 watts on HF and 6m, 50 watts on 2m, and 20 watts on 70cm, with DSP and a built in keyer. Everything works fine on it and I bought this used recently from Ham Radio Outlet so they checked it over for performance also. It comes with a power cord, and a MFJ desk mic with the adaptor cables for the Icom 706-you can also use it with 8 pin mic Icom radios as well. This rig is an excellent rover setup as it gives you the three most popular VHF/UHF bands at decent power levels. I am asking $575 for the 706MKIIG. I also have an Icom 706MK2 HF/6m/2m radio for sale. This is the model that does 100 watts on HF and 6m and 20 watts on 2m. The case has a few scratches on it, but overall the sides and bottom look pretty good-with some deep scratches on the top. The faceplate looks fine. This radio works fine with the exception of the VOX which is acting kind of flakey, but might be remedied by playing around with the VOX settings. This rig comes with the manual and power cord, but no mic. I am asking $400 for the 706MKII. Prices include shipping in the US and I can take paypal/check/MO. 73 John AF5CC From af5cc2 at gmail.com Tue Aug 30 14:29:07 2016 From: af5cc2 at gmail.com (John Geiger) Date: Tue, 30 Aug 2016 13:29:07 -0500 Subject: [50mhz] FS: Icom 756PRO2 HF/6m transceiver Message-ID: I have for sale an Icom 756PRO2 HF and 6 meter 100 watt radio. This is the model that has the real time band scope, IF DSP for noise reduction and narrow filters, built in voice keyer and CW memory keyer, a TCXO as standard, and dual receive-both receivers have to be on the band and mode. You can read all about the PRO2 here: http://www.universal-radio.com/catalog/hamhf/1756.html This is still a high performing 6 meter transceiver, and the band scope is great for finding activity on the band. With the dual receive you can listen to 50.110 or 50.125 while tuning other parts of the band as well. It also has a transverter jack so this would make a nice IF radio for transverters for the higher bands. The case is in good condition with no real scratches but some scuffs on the top, which aren't real visible. The rig works great. I recently bought this used from Ham Radio Outlet so they checked it all out for performance. Would keep it but found another radio I wanted so need to pay for that one. The 756PRO2 comes with a power cord, manual, hand mic, and an Icom 756 original box (minus inserts). I am asking $850 plus shipping for it. I can take paypal/check/MO. 73 John AF5CC
